Tom
Gleason, Vice President
Tom Gleason was born and raised in Fresno, California.
He attended Thomas Elementary, Tioga Junior High School, Hoover
High School and Fresno State University. He has been married to
Kathleen for twelve years and has three daughters, Sadie, Marianne,
and Catherine.
Tom
lettered in baseball, water polo and soccer while attending Hoover
and was on four Valley Championship teams -- two in water polo
and two in soccer. Tom was named first team all-league in each
sport.
Tom has been a member of five soccer teams that have reached the
Final Four. U-16 Hoover United State Cup Championship, Western
Regional Championship and National runner-up, U-19 Hoover Celtic
State Cup Championship, Western Regional Championship and National
4th Place, Fresno NCAA Semi-Finalist, Minnesota Strikers MISL
Eastern Division Champions and semi-finalist, San Jose Oaks 0-30
State Champs, Western Regional Championship and National Champions.
Tom has coached many youth club teams and also
has coached Buchanan High School girls with his wife Kathleen.
Buchanan was the first Clovis Unified School to reach a C.I.F
finals in girls’ soccer and also the first to win the championship.
Tom’s wife Kathleen, also a Hoover graduate, was
part of two National Championship teams at St. Mary’s College.
She was twice named National Player of the Year. She also won
a National Open Cup Championship with the Sacramento Storm.
Tom
now owns and operates Fresno
Indoor Soccer located across the street from F.S.U
and enjoys being an active supporter in the whole soccer community.
Tom
serves as Vice President of the Valley Soccer Foundation, a non-profit
501(c)(3) California corporation.
